Neurodiversity, ADHD and Autism
We offer counselling and psychotherapy in Upper Rissington, Bloxham and Online.
We support neurodivergent adults by helping you explore your world through your own lens. With a humanistic and relational approach, we recognise your uniqueness and offer an accepting space to understand the additional barriers, pressures or misunderstandings that may have been part of your experience.
You may be autistic, have ADHD or identify with other forms of neurodivergence. You may have a formal diagnosis, be exploring whether neurodiversity fits your experience, or simply want therapy with someone who understands that there is no single ‘right’ way to think, feel, communicate or relate.
Therapy can provide space to explore identity, masking, overwhelm, burnout, relationships, self-esteem, emotional regulation or the impact of feeling different or misunderstood. We will not approach neurodivergence as something that needs to be fixed. Instead, we work collaboratively to understand your needs, recognise your strengths and explore ways of making life feel more manageable and authentic.
We will build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can communicate in a way that works for you and at a pace that feels comfortable. Our aim is to help you develop greater self-understanding, confidence and acceptance, while identifying practical changes, boundaries or adjustments that may support you in everyday life.
Above all, we want therapy to be a place where you feel understood as the person you are, rather than expected to fit somebody else’s idea of how you should be.
